The Panther Pacers had the opportunity to participate once again in the Living History Farms Race in Urbandale this year. This race is a long-time Pacer tradition which we were excited to continue this year.

Nine bare Pacers were in attendance at this year's Polar Bare Run on UNI's campus. Many of us painted up to run the one mile in the rain in style! A couple dozen of our old Homecoming 5K shirts were donated to the Salvation Army winter clothing drive at the event. Also, congratulations to Panther Pacer member David Parrott for taking first place overall in the run!

As promised the map of this year's Homecoming 5K course is on the website. Just click here at: Course Map to view or print it. There are a few changes from last year that you should take note of, especially the new parking location, new start/finish location, and slightly different route. There are several reasons as to why the Pacers chose to change the route this year:

The 14th Annual Panther Pacers Homecoming 5K is almost here! Over the past few weeks I have received several requests for an account to this website. The log-in feature of this website is used for administrative purposes only, for me to add or change the site's content. Because I am not technologically inclined, I am not aware of how to hide this function while still allowing myself to access it. Therefore, I am asking that you not bother to request an account because all of the website's information is already accessible to all users so an account will not give you any extra benefits.

This group of races is organized by Trekman. Last year several Pacers participated in the half marathon; it was a ton of fun, the course was perfect, great post-race food, and we got our results back about ten minutes after we crossed the finish line. They also offer a 10K and 5K race on the same day starting at 7:35am.
