33rd Living History Farms Race

The Panther Pacers had the opportunity to participate once again in the Living History Farms Race in Urbandale this year. This race is a long-time Pacer tradition which we were excited to continue this year.

Polar Bare Run 2011

Nine bare Pacers were in attendance at this year's Polar Bare Run on UNI's campus. Many of us painted up to run the one mile in the rain in style! A couple dozen of our old Homecoming 5K shirts were donated to the Salvation Army winter clothing drive at the event. Also, congratulations to Panther Pacer member David Parrott for taking first place overall in the run!

As promised the map of this year's Homecoming 5K course is on the website. Just click here at: Course Map to view or print it. There are a few changes from last year that you should take note of, especially the new parking location, new start/finish location, and slightly different route. There are several reasons as to why the Pacers chose to change the route this year:

The 14th Annual Panther Pacers Homecoming 5K is almost here! I just wanted to remind you all to get your registrations in soon so that you do not miss the October 1st deadline for a guaranteed long sleeve race shirt. Here is the link to view this year's shirt design. As you can see they will be dark grey shirts and they are really cool looking so don't miss out!
