12th Annual Panther Pacers Homecoming 5K
Join us on Homecoming morning for our 12th annual Panther Pacers Homecoming 5K. If you’ve ran this race in the past then you know how much fun it is! If you haven’t run it before then check it out and I promise you won’t be disappointed. If you’re curious here’s some information about the race and what to expect.
How to register:
There are two ways to register for the race. The first is by going to www.active.com and registering online. The second way is by downloading the registration form and mailing or handing it in to the WRC. Mailing information is located on the registration form.
Course:
The Homecoming 5K course is a true cross country course. It is a double loop, grass course featuring flats, rolling hills and tight curves on the intramural fields.
T-Shirts:
All race participants registered before October 7th will be GUARANTEED a long sleeve t-shirt.
Awards:
A custom engraved glass plaque will be awarded to the first place male and female finishers and the first place male and female alumni. An awards ceremony will take place shortly after the race.
Medals:
Medals will be given to the top three male and female finishers of each age group.
Door Prizes:
Door prizes will be drawn and awarded following the awards ceremony. All bib numbers are entered into the drawing. There is a large variety of door prizes and you must be present to win, so be sure to stay for the drawing!

Early Packet Pickup/Registration:
Participants can pick up their race packets early at the Runner’s Flat, 115 East 4th St., Cedar Falls, between 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16th. Registration can also be completed here for the race day price.
Race Day Registration/Packet Pickup:
Race day registration and packet pickup will open at 7:00 AM and close at 7:50 AM. Late registration does not guarantee a long sleeved race shirt. Shirts will be given out first come first serve for late registrants.
Race Fees:
Postmarked on or before October 7th or hand delivered to the Wellness Rec-reation Services Office 101 on or before October 13th:
